Bleach 385

[late] Thank you to everyone who sent me snowflake cookies! :D You guys are so awesome. :x Special thanks to anon for the delicious cake~ ♥ I was kind of bummed when I found out it was a glitch (rather than LJ giving us all a treat for the holiday season) but w/e; it was fun while it lasted.[/late]

Vice It

...isn't that the Shinigami symbol (like the one on Ichigo's badge) bleeding down Tousen's chest? :O Really pretty, but also creepy.

OMG OMG I HAVE DIED AND EXPIRED FROM AWESOME. SHINJI. WHY SO GREAT? T_T

SAKANADE IS SUCH A PRETTY NAME *___________*

You know, it never really occurred to me to think that Tōsen joined Soul Society in order to avenge his dead friend -- it seems like such an obvious conclusion, too, but I was thrown by his friend having been a Shinigami: she believed in Soul Society and what it stood for, but I guess Tōsen doesn't really give a shit about what his friend would have wanted. I'm not sure if that's boring or interesting as a development; I hate Tōsen too much. >.>

He seems to be implying that Komamura joined for revenge -- I hope we hear more about that soon, because I've always thought Komamura just had baggage from his past for being a furry wolf -- that he wanted to rise above past tormentors, not that there was a specific revenge-related reason for him to become a Shinigami. Hmm.

Or is Tōsen just talking about himself -- "I joined for revenge, and I would be debasing myself if I were to abandon that ideal and become a cog in the machine"? Either way could play out nicely, though if Tōsen is just talking about himself and not trying to taunt Komamura, I'm not sure how to take that, since that sort of means he has enough respect for Komamura to try and justify himself. :?

BUT WHAT'S GOING ON WITH SHINJI OMG KUBO YOU ARE SUCH A TEASE. T_T
