Okay, was I the only one who saw the sweet irony in David Cook easily pwning David Archuleta in that duet of Hero? Granted, it's his element and not David A's, but this is a clear demonstration of where they differ. David C can do pop and rock; David A is severely limited.
And you know, the Guru bit was cheesy as all fuck but I was very entertained. SITAR HERO OMG. XD
omg Jason Castro doing Hallelujah again! And Melinda Doolittle's face as she applauded!!! :D MY ICON IS JUSTIFIED.
Bryan Adams. ;_; He's as spry as ever, but he's ... aged so much, y'all. ;_;
HOLY FUCK DAVID COOK ROCKING OUT WITH ZZ TOP THIS IS ABSOLUTELY FUCKING EPIC. EPIC. AND HE FITS RIGHT IN EVEN THOUGH HIS BEARD IS A PALE IMITATION. OMG. *PALPITATES* MY GODDAMN KINGDOM FOR A GODDAMN STUDIO VERSION OF THIS. PLEASE. OKAY, I HAVE NO KINGDOM. BUT. OMFG. *____________*
I once again found the mockery of past hopefuls distasteful. I realise it's a tradition on the show, but this part just really does not sit well with me.
I missed David A singing because I was out for a smoke. My associates have informed me that he did a pretty good job.
And George Michael has aged as well but it suits him and omfg, his VOICE. *_* A great, great way to conclude the musical part of show. Dear David A: this is how it's done, thx.
AND THE RESULTS OMFG OMFG OMFG OMFG DAVID COOK DAVID COOK HOLY FUCKING SHIT HE WON HE ACTUALLY WON I HOPE IT GOES SO WELL FOR HIM OMG DAVID!!!!!! :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
He so was not expecting that, you guys. OMFG. BRILLIANT SEASON AND FOR ONCE THE ROCKER HAS HIS DAY! HOLY SHIT.
HOLY SHIT. YAY. OMG. YAY!!!!
:D :D :D
ETA: I AM STILL GRINNING SO HARD MY FACE HURTS OMFG. :DDDD
Now I have to find something else to post about on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Perhaps I shall discuss knitting.
