Unimitigated trust and goodwill: the government always has my best interests at heart, and while there are some bad politicians, they are in the minority.
Cautious optimism: the government probably has my best interests at heart but I don't feel I can rely on it to do right by me all the time.
Generalised wariness: while there may be people at all levels of government who really want to do the right thing, there is too much money and power involved for anyone's motives to be really pure.
Distrust: if it weren't for the constitution/charter of rights, they'd treat me like livestock, and I believe my government and its affiliates (police, etc) will try to do so at every opportunity anyway.
Extreme prejudice: governments are nothing but circlejerks of greedy and corrupt narcissists who only care about amassing wealth and influence; all else is incidental.
None of the above captures my general feelings on government with sufficient precision.
