f: She's kind of a one-trick pony, isn't she? >.>
Randy: You are the truth.
Ellen: You're amazing.
Kara: You have completely recovered from last week, when you sang You Oughtta Know.
f: Uh, she sang Hand in My Pocket, you dumbass.
Simon: I completely misunderestimated you.
f: *facepalm*
Haeley: I like making headbands and hair accessories. Even Big Mike wears 'em! I am physically incapable of not smiling! I chose The Climb by Miley Cyrus in an attempt to sound less old~
f: I actually liked her this week. Or, I liked her better than last week.
Randy: It was excruciating.
Ellen: Don't ever stop smiling. You're adorable. But you didn't connect with the song.
Kara: You have the Alex Lambert factor. I don't mean the mullet.
Simon: It was a complete and utter mess.
Lacey: Most people don't know that I like to refurbish antique furniture. My mom thinks I was made to perform onstage, and I believe her! I will sing Kiss Me by Sixpence None the Richer, like Kara ordered.
f: I would have been more impressed if she'd sung the Japanese-language version of this song.
Randy: Yo. It would have worked if it weren't so karaoke.
Ellen: I thought it was adorable.
Kara: You have a unique tone, but you need to step it up.
Simon: Marginally better than last week, but all you're doing is take part in the competition rather than showing that you are an artist.
f: And again she's being snotty about the judges. Can we vote her off the island?
Katie: I can say "give me a kiss" in six different languages, including English. It's really embarrassing, because I've never even been to those countries, tee hee! I decided to perform Corinne Bailey Rae's Girl Put Your Records On.
f: I'm still at "I've never been to those countries". Dumb twit thinks languages are only spoken in countries other than the USA. I liked Megan's version of this song better last year, and that's saying something.
Randy: There were a few bright moments.
Ellen: I want to see you even younger.
Kara: I'm frustrated with you.
Simon: If you came into my recording studio, I'd turn you away.
Didi: When I was in middle school, I was the mascot, not the cheerleader. Before hitting the stage, I pray and I meow. I picked Lean on Me by Bill Withers for tonight.
f: This time, her trick was to meow on stage. Good to know!
Randy: Wrong song.
Ellen: Great voice, but wrong song.
Kara: Too karaoke.
Simon: Screechy.
Michelle: I'm a children's choir director at church. Somehow, people don't know this about me. I am performing Creed's With Arms Wide Open.
f: Way to butcher a classic, dude. >:(
Randy: I like your outfit.
Ellen: It almost worked, but not quite.
Kara: My favourite performance of yours, ever.
Simon: I actually agree with Kara.
Lilly: I actually play a lot of different instruments, not just the six-string guitar. I'm going to sing A Change Is Gonna Come by Sam Cook.
f: tbh I wanted her to put the guitar down and just sing for once. I did like this, and I think she's taking over as my favourite girl this season.
Randy: My favourite performance of the night. You are so unique!
Ellen: You've got it. I don't know what it is, but you have it.
Kara: Thank God you tried out for this competition. You are gonna change the game.
Simon: You know, the thing we keep telling the other contestants, you just did it. I wasn't crazy about it, but you did well.
Katelyn: Before I tried out for Idol, I was studying to be a recording engineer, and I want to open my own studio someday. My choice was Coldplay's The Scientist, with which I'm hoping to move people.
f: Well, she sure moved me! I moved my hands right to my ears.
Randy: It was way slow, but I liked it!
Ellen: I liked that you were playing guitar. I mean. The piano. Ok, fine, I was asleep for that whole thing.
Kara: You have an incredible instrument. That piano, it's just so white and shiny.
Simon: It was corny, but a million times better than last week.
Paige: I like to colour. But not outside the lines. I shall sing for you Walk Away by Kelly Clarkson.
f: I don't get it. She spent half the song shouting vowels.
Randy: That song has too many words for you.
Ellen: I thought it was fantastic.
Kara: This is an angry song. I should know; I wrote it! You weren't angry enough.
Simon: The songs are overtaking you.
Siobhan: I used to have a mohawk. That I gave myself. I have chosen Aretha Franklin's Think.
f: Ok, that was awesome. *_*
Randy: That was dope!
Ellen: You're better than a Snuggie.
Kara: I can't believe that high note.
Simon: You are a very strange person, aren't you?
I think my problem with this season is that there are so few stand-out talents, and maybe 4 or 5 of the contestants have, you know, personality. >:(
