well this is kind of epic

US embassy cables leak sparks global diplomatic crisis

[If you want to see the actual site, Google "cablegate" and look for the link titled "Cable Viewer"]

I think the Guardian's feature section is pretty good, too, especially since I'm not sure what may happen to people who access more than a few pages on the actual site. :\ [e.g. Australians linking to it may be fined. D:]

(Preemptive notice: I'm really not interested in reactions of "OMG HOW DARE WIKILEAKS JEOPARDISE GLOBAL SECURITY" even though I sympathise with that idea to a small extent. But to me, the fact remains that if the democratic government of the United States of America had behaved (at least over the decades spanning the leak) in a way that befits a democratic government, this leak would have been merely embarrassing, not potentially catastrophic.)

ETA: Also not particularly interested in "lolol anyone who reads the paper already knows all this stuff, so this is so not at all important or interesting". If you find it unimportant and/or uninteresting, the logical response here is to make use of your scrollbar, thanks!
