a Devilish Perspective
AGAIN I REPEAT WHY WHY ARE THE GODDAMN QUINCIES (WHO ARE SUPPOSEDLY HUMAN) LOOKING SCARIER THAN HOLLOWS
does not compute
my precious little child
Kubo's getting better and better at condensing the villains revealing their abilities so the reader can follow along
Okay, actually, Kubo probably does not watch Doctor Who (let's be real here); combined these seem to be just three different youkai powers, tweaked a little bit. Which makes me wonder if all of the Quincies aren't actually Youkai-type monsters now rather than being human. I mean, they... aren't in the living world; their castle-thing seems to be in a different dimension from either Hueco Mundo or Seireitei so maybe this is just a new way Kubo's incorporating the rich Japanese world of the dead mythos into the Bleach one. (OTOH the zanpaktou are very much youkai-like, too -- maybe therein lies the secret to defeating the Quincy?)
YACHIRU FOR PRESIDENT
ok I kind of do not understand why Isane is freaking out. They are on assignment in enemy territory. A random person appears out of thin air. The chances that this is a FRIEND are low enough to be zero; Shinigami do not just appear out of thin air. Yachiru's instinct is absolutely correct; I don't think it has anything to do with her being a child or an animal, she's just a strong fighter. Ken-chan doesn't like weaklings.
SHE IS SO CUTE
AWW LOOK AT HER FACE OMG ALL THE AWARDS
I'm really getting annoyed at mangastream insisting on this translation? like, the mangapanda one and the wikia both clarify that she isn't using any kind of future tense (there isn't a future tense as such in Japanese in the first place) so like are they just adding this shit in for cheap trolling, or
i wish i weren't too lazy to go looking for raws. maybe i can find a copy of this Jump for sale when I'm in Japan later this month and read it for myself (:D)
I just kept c&ping Yachiru because she's fucking adorable.
THERE ARE THREE OF THEM OMG THE SKULL THING AND THE HAIRY MONSter thING AND thEY FIGHt TOGETHER i can not
