Yes: ALL THE GIRLS. I've only requested female characters, and I want to read/look at anything and everything about them -- friendship, romance, friends-with-benefits, fair-weather friendship, pining-from-afar, pwp, rivalry, enmity, lifelong grudges, anything. AU is fine, not focussing on sports is fine, including male characters from the series is fine as long as they don't occupy central roles.
No: I'd very strongly prefer not seeing the canon female characters I've requested genderbent into male characters. As long as your work doesn't contain this, heterosexual sex, or underage sex, I will be 9000% happy with it.
